<VV> gastank float

...stupid...pulled the sender out of son's 65 coupe here,gasgage had quit last year after i installed NEW sender from Clark's and coated tank w/por15...thought the por15 had drooped down,not adhering to tank,but looked ok w/flashlite---(WTF? i thought...)...float is full of gas!! put another soldered brass one on-thot i had a plastic one:; sprayed 2 coats of red insulating varnish on the clean,old dry one for 'good measure',and then realized the float faces the other way !! Will it hit the tank,or be OK?...Tom Z/doing things twice is twice as fun!!!
