Well, I can see the problem from here.  The wires are rotten - they've 
turned purple.  <BIG G>

Due to some recent Corvair troubles, I've decided to make the jump and work 
on my own car.  Just thought I'd share the outcome of my first day on the 
job.  I was surprised that I could get so much done by myself in only 5 
hours.
