Hey guys,
I just found a nice Corvair, but the idiot owner has installed the battery
positive ground... what could possibly be broken/burnt up?
It's a 110hp with a Pertronix.... he knew nothing about cars (the guy is from
Australia, and ever since I saw Mad Max I thought ALL Aussies were
gearheads... I guess not)... oh, it's a 1969 Monza, pg, shoulder belts and deluxe
buckles, rear seat speaker (since removed) and clock... I didn't look at the trunk,
didn't have the key. The VIN is 105379W703825.
I need to know what I need to bring with me to fix it and drive it off once
the paperwork is transferred into my name... I know I'll need to replace the
fusable link to the horrid plastic thingy... maybe the pertronix, I don't know...
Any clues?
Thanks guys... oh, it was only $500... and I have a receipt from him
already... I sold a few things this past month and had that much in the spare pocket
change, and will probably be selling a few more things here real soon.
Later,
