Not trying to start a debate. You're entitled to your opinion.
In general, when you go to the big chain stores, NAPA excepted.....
You are getting a young person. They don't know how to use paper catalogs because even the people running the store in most cases were never taught how to use them. Because they are young, they have little if any knowledge of cars newer than 1980.
Of course, this is only an opinion I got by standing behind said counters the last 10 years. Doesn't mean you aren't entitled to yours.
The way I explain it, in most cases the x members, and brakes are already on the car before the engine is installed. A turbo doesn't increase HP exponentially, therefore there should be no reason why a turbo car would have different brake shoes. Same drums, same tires, essentially same wheels in the 60's.
