<VV> Clocks

I think the second hand advances smoothly on a quartz clock, but in steps on
an original. The most conspicuous thing about a quartz conversion is that it
is accurate. Gives it away every time.

Quartz replacement internal repair is a good way to go for any car clock. I
have one in my '57 Chevy and it has been running accurately for more than 15
years. My Corvair NOS has been redone in quartz by Fred's Clocks from Kansas
City. This one is accurate too.

The only difference is not hearing the clock "sound" but if that is not a
problem for you this is great.
