NOX is the hard one, any really well tuned 60's engine can be adjusted to
run low on CO and HC at idle. Might have trouble fitting in a catalytic
converter but might as well.
Think a 110 with single exhaust (for the O2 sensor) would be the easiest.
Now I gotta find a ded MPV since I have a shop manual for the 3.1. OTOH
lotsa 2.8 Blazer engines people pulled to replace with SBCs around.
How about a factor for minimum cost ? Suspect under $250 DIY is possible
scrounging with building a distributor potentially the most ex$pen$ive
part. Would take a custom PROM but once you have one, more are essentially
zero cost and the Fiero computer is well documented.
Electric fan control would be built in 8*).
