You don't mention whether or not he has a V6 or a 4 banger. Regardless, many
Corvair owners are Fiero owners as well (or, like me, past Fiero owners). I
had an 88 Fiero Forumla V6 that really had decent pep and a great feel, but
was by no means a "fast" car, and I had trouble keeping up with modern 4
bangers (ala late 90's Acura Integras, late 90's Civic Si), ! That said, I
don't think my 140 h.p. Monza could come close to beating a Fiero V6,
especially from the starting line. But who cares? I say buy a Fiero, keep
your Corvair and live the good life!
