Ken,
Any chance it could be one of those "Eshelman Golden Eagle" Safety Bumpers 
like in some of that awesome car info you have? Just curious... I thought 
Continental Kit too, when I first saw it, then I remembered the pamphlet I saw at 
the last meeting with those extended bumpers on the larger cars... there is also 
a name plate of sorts there at the door, not where one would normally be on a 
EM... THATS what started me thinking about the "Golden Eagle" accessories.
