Speaking of Celebrities:

Jim Hall, former head of the Transportation Safety Board, owned at least one 
Corvair.  An engineer who made his living determining what caused 
transportation crashes--airplanes expecially-counts as a "celebrity" in my book.  
Especially when, about ten years ago, he was interviewed and stated that he had a 
Corvair and that they were good cars that had been unfairly maligned.
