<VV> Re CONVERTER TEST

i have been testing my converters by hand using a nose out of a junk case the 
way tom mentioned. it is another "tool" in my collection. i try with a shat 
and the nose for motion or lack of it.  so far i have found no bad converters 
in my collection over they years , in spite of the symptoms i have encountered. 
the units i have had trouble with may all be related to converting them to 
use a cooler. i may just try a car unit without a cooler for a while. i thought 
i was doing it right according to the tech guide , but maybe i screwed up.
