<VV> strange oil leak location

There is no source of oil in that area - I suspect your engine is 
forcing oil out of the dipstick and it settles there and the fan makes 
it appear that it's leaking. A pcv o ring leak at the top casting would 
not escape out the side of the shroud - Lon
