<VV> A/C blower motor problems for a '66

Couple of thoughts,

Wayne, is yours a factory A/C installation or did somebody just "put one
in"? the reason I ask is because if they did not install the correct A/C
resistor (replaces the factory heater resistor) your blower will not operate
at full speed.

Second, is your blower an actual A/C blower - rotation is opposite that of a
heater blower. Heater blower will blow air but due to arrangement of the
housing it will not be as efficient as the A/C blower.

As for the replacement for the A/C blower motor, this question came up at
the Air Vair meeting in Portland and was not definitively answered. It is
thought that it is probably the same as other GM cars of the era, and
therefore common, although not known for sure. Perhaps check with your
local salvage yards, otherwise look for a replacement Corvair A/C blower
motor at swap meets, vendors, etc.

Hope this helps
