<VV> Need help on personal matter ( sorta corvairish )

OK, guys, this is a little embarrassing, but if you wanna know about Lepers,
you go to a Leper colony, right ?

I figger I have come to the right people for answers to the following
question:

Some young snots are calling me a * has-been * , some are calling me a *
used-to-be*.... as in " hey, didn't you used to be Ken Campbell ?  " ....

Although I admit that at times I have a short fantasy about helping them
along toward a new career as a Chorus Girl in the Rockettes, I am really a
practicing non violent popsickle,    .... so I need a couple of good snappy
comebacks that won't stunt their ambitions ...we really need creative
over-achievers, that's the American way ....

So as corvair ( 50 year old cars ! ..... mechanisms ... ) owners, drivers,
and maybe former driver-enthusiasts, I figure this will be a rich field for
mining, and seeing as how we have many Corvair Vendors and such that are in
the same boat ....  need    ..... snappy comebacks ...

oh, I got only one so far, from a friend that is in the same category "
better a has-been than a never was" ...
