having been away from the car business 13 years this year(YEA!!!) i think i 
remember, but not sure being advised that if i am hung up on synthetic oils to 
not run them or combos (pennzoil seminar )at the time, in new engines until 
broken in or anot 1000 miles or more.  some rings might not seat if they see 
such slippery oils during breakin?  now fer the flames...
