<VV> Spam & Traps (no vair)

My ISP provides an email bin that I COULD use to store everything. I don't
use it that way. But, the neat thing is that they put everything that they
feel is suspect into the BULK folder. I view the BULK folder out on the
web. Usually, I end up checking one box which deletes all of them at once.
Occasionally, there is something in BULK that should not be there and they
provide a way to mark that as NOT SPAM - which moves it to the normal IN box
AND allows future messages from that sender to come to the normal IN box.

Next, I glance through the subjects (on the web IN box) to catch if there
might be something that SHOULD have been in the BULK folder, but wasn't. If
I mark something in the IN box as spam, anything further from that address
will go to BULK. Usually everything is fine and I don't have to do that but
maybe once a week or so (mark one as SPAM).

Finally, I then use OUTLOOK to download to my local computer those that
still remain in the IN box. I then have them (the ones I actually want to
read) on my own computer instead of out at the ISP's mail box.

This is a couple of extra steps, but I feel the slight extra effort helps
insure that I don't get what I don't want and DO get what I do want.
