It's not unusual a find as you might think. Quite a few dealers would
order one just like that, just for stock, as a price leader, I guess.
Happened most years at many dealers.
I remember the dealer in Mansfield ordering ONLY three '69's for stock.
Two were typically equipped Monzas (a 110/automatic and a 140/4speed)
but one was a no-options 500. A salesman friend told me that they
(correctly believing it to be its last year) were afraid to be "stuck"
with any more at year's end, but after they announced its
discontinuance, they had so many people come in after them that they
wished they had been "stuck" with 300 of them! LOL
