i had a real nice chat tonight with a guy who is going to run a corvair in 
the history channels "great race". what he is looking for is someone who is a 
real techy with the 1960 corvair. it has to run from washington dc start to 
seattle(tacoma) washington. the trick is to make this thing a  very realiable car 
with stock parts (available in 1960). any good input would be welcomed.(pete 
are you watching this?)  
this would be a great chance to see the corvair  in a lot of publicity. they 
really put on a show  during the time of the race, both on the web and tv.
