I believe SLOWING the engine down  makes the biggest improvement!

Unfortunately our Vairs are too heavy.....My Speedskater...at 1300 lb.s   102 
/pg /3.55's  had no problem pulling with 29"  tires....peppy at any speed...

My  1990  Chev 3500  with 454  / 3.73 gear......TB FI.....how many of you 
have known these vehicles to get 7-9 mpg????

With a Custom 700R4  OD  trans....2200 rpm at  75mph......17-18 mpg [ 
unloaded].
