I have no idea how this could of happened. Or do I??

We spent considerable time during the "cabin fever" period of the winter 
discussing a swimsuit calendar. Among others, I warned that there would be 
those having a literal shit fit if something like a swimsuit calendar was 
done, and marketed through CORSA.  I have seen similar opinions expressed in 
CORSA chapter meetings, usually by elderly wives of elderly men, who still 
won't let their husbands out of their sight long enough to attend a car club 
meeting. One would think jealousy or envy would subside after scores of 
years of marriage. Apparently not.

Now here we have someone coming on to apologize about pictures on a vendors 
website?  I saw them. Wasn't anything in poor taste about them.  Of course 
neither was the picture of the girls in swimsuits on the front cover of a 
Communique that caused a similar shit storm in years gone by.

Now of course that was before the days before
1.Condom ads from the government on TV
2.Advertisements on TV and radio for drugs to treat erectile disfunction 
from 3 different companies, featuring women discussing how when they want a 
"quality sexual experience" with their partner, he can take this drug.
3.Victoria's Secret girls marching down runways in G strings.
4. and now, ads for hard liquor on cable TV. Last one I saw was for Crown 
Royal.


To the Webmaster I say.....

Ask Jeff to figure out the total dollar amount that the complaining 
customers have purchased, and if it doesn't close his doors, ignore them. 
With all the sexually oriented things on TV and radio, the print media, and 
even show up in your junk mail that are offensive to many, I don't see where 
those pictures on the website could offend anyone, other than those with 
nothing better to do.

There are some serious issues in the world, and our country. There are 
always issues in our world of auto appreciation, restoration and general 
enthusiasm.

THESE PICTURES ARE NOT ONE OF THEM.

Too Racy??? My big old butt!!  I wonder if they complained to NASCAR that 
there's a car on the track advertising Viagara??
