<VV> 63 Spyder - Stuck Clutch

I have a 63 Spyder recently removed from several years of storage. I have 
the motor running perfectly however the clutch seems to be stuck. There is 
resistance on the pedal, shifting is smooth when the engine is not 
running. When running, the car will not go into gear. Does anyone have a 
tip for loosening a stuck plate? Or must I pull the engine and replace the 
clutch? Thanks!
