Again - thanks for the tip and yes it worked fine. All I had to do was hold
up the nut with both hands and pull the ring off with my third hand. :-)
Standard stuff for us Corvair folks!
I now have all electricals up and running except for the convertible top
relay.

Thanks for the tip everyone! I'll order one but with an average time for a
vendor delivery these days (post 911) to Canada being about 6 weeks I'll try
the one from the parts car first to keep the restoration process going.
