Hello Group!

If you are in the IL - WI area and looking for something fun to do with your 
Vair on Saturday - 9/25 - why don't you join us!  This is for the 27th 
annual Lake Geneva Classic Car Poker Run.  It is a great fun day of seeing 
(probably a couple hundred) classics on the road.  CCE currently has 14 cars 
pre-registered.  We will be going North up IL route 47 and pick up WI route 
50 just outside of town.

The day starts with a parade line up in downtown Lake Geneva.  Try to get 
there about 10AM.  The parade is off at 11AM and you want time to look over 
the participating vehicles.  It goes out to the Interlaken resort where free 
pizza is served and you can register for your poker hands.  A $20.00 
donation to the Cancer Society gets you three hands.

The rest of the day is spent cruising around to various locations (in five 
different zones).  One of the locations is the Yerkes Observatory where you 
will be allowed to park on the lawn for a photo opportunity.  You must pick 
a card for each hand in each zone.  The top 20 hands will win a prize.  Last 
year, the top prize was a big screen TV.

So, instead of wrenching on a broken Corvair this weekend, shine up one of 
the nice ones and join us at the start of the parade!  Yes, I assume that 
most Corvair owners have more than one!
