<VV> Porsche 912 advice (No Corvair, unfortunately)

Folks,

I am considering the purchase of a '67 Porsche 912. Does anyone have 
any experience or advice about owning/buying one? I am not abandoning 
our beloved Corvair. This 912 popped up and the price is right. My plan 
is to bookend it with a nice Corsa convertible. Please reply offline. I 
don't want to start a thread about Porsches. I hope no one takes 
offense at my question.
