<VV> help w/removing turbo on 64

The shop manual says you need to remove the "V" clamp nut and clamp . I can't find any description or picture of this "V" clamp. I have taken off every clamp I can find and undone every bolt I can find (except two bolts under the compressor housing that attach the the turbo to the exhaust outlet, these are rusted and seemingly impossible to get at with the turbo still in place. The maunal make this sound easy but I've been at this for 5 hours.
