my LM has a nagging tendency to pull in one direction on hard braking, and
I've replaced front wheel cylinders and shoes until I'm blue in the face.

My car has DOT 5 and I had a similar problem. Replacing the brake springs
solved my problem. - I tried replacing the cylinders and shoes first (cyls
were leaking), but the car still pulled.
