Suggest you find a Corvair shop.  Sleeves for cylinders sounds like they
either don't know what they are doing or BSing you.  Air cooled engine
rebuilds done right, require a bit of attention to detail that a straight
six or V8 water-cooled engine do not require for regular service use.

Keep asking questions.  You will save a bunch of money and acquire a lot of
knowledge.
