Lucky for that trucker the earlies didn't come with the twin .50 Brownings
....   I think that was a  68 mid year change, you can tell by the thick
tail light trim around the back up lights ....

I would guess the trucker had been up about 6 daiz without sleep .....   you
are lucky, I saw a lady pull into the right hand blind spot of a truck (
blinkers on, .. ) turning right at a narrow intersection ... the truck
folded up her little Saturn or whatever like a nutcracker,  had to call in
the jaws to get her out.
way too close...
