I bought one of these boosters a few weeks ago, but haven't fitted it yet,
as it is still 7000 miles away. I disagree with Tim's comment "Who needs
'em?" Every modern car has a booster, so why not a Corvair? My 1960 has a
booster fitted and the brakes feel much more re-assuring than my 65 without
a booster. While a Corvair's brakes are by no means bad, a boosted set-up
is just better. Personally, I would have no hesitation in saying go for it.

Anyone know about the Rolln Art Street Rod power brake systems that are
on Ebay for the Corvair? The "buy now" price is $290, which doesn't
seem bad, if it works.
Any thoughts or comments from personal experience?
Thanks,
