This is true. There is also a guy here (he is 11 years old!!!) who is
developing an LED system where more or fewer lights light up in proportion
to how hard the car is braking. This strikes me as a brilliant safety
feature, and I certainly wish I had had ideas like this when I was 11!
Although I heard the news story about 3 years ago, they don't seem to have
gone into production yet, though.
