Mike,

I have been using this same cleaner for about a year now.  Used the below
formula that was on VV some time ago.

System still working well.

It's composed of equal parts of:

  a.. Mineral spirits or paint thinner
  a.. Automatic transmission fluid
  b.. Kerosene
  c.. Acetone

Works as well as Safety Kleen and isn't too harsh on the hands.


There's also a product called "Agitene" sold by Graingers that some of the
shop-talk guys love, but I haven't tried it.
