<VV> Transmission to cross support

Hi all...I am soooo close to getting my Vair back on all fours. '65
Corsa vert 140/4. Several tasks still ahead, but one big question. This
is my first engine reinstall...and I am having a very hard time getting
the three transmission to cross member bolts back in. The rear engine
support is already bolted up...the control arms (I think that's
them...the ones right below the half axles) are already bolted up and I
have one trans to cross support bolt in...Here is the question: I want
to make sure I have the right bolts in there. The PO(s) did work on her
and used some rather...um...unorthodox parts/methods in a few spots, and
I am wondering if that is the case here as well...I took out three bolts.
I am sorry but I am such a rookie, that all I can tell you is that two
were smallish and one was thicker. I am guessing maybe two 1/2 inch
bolts and one 3/4 inch? The larger one, also, is only threaded about 3/4
the way of the bolt leaving about 1/4 inch unthreaded...I am thinking
about just ordering the replacement bolts from Clarks so I can be sure I
have the right ones, but before I do (and put the project on hold while I
wait) I wanted to see if this sounds right.
If the bolts sound right I will just do what I do best -- force them.
