Not in my experience. I got undercarriage rust in an insulated garage with
a concrete floor, but not in one with a dirt floor. My wife's Miata has
been stored there every winter for the last 5 years, and there is absolutely
no undercarriage rust. The Corvair had undercarriage rust from previousl
storage on a concrete floor. The dirt floor is very dry and very porous
which probably makes a big difference compared to a hard packed dirt floor
(it used to be a horse riding arena).

I've always been told that a dirt floor will cause the undercarriage to rust
quite quickly. A chemical reaction with mother earth??
