Corvair friends--yes indeed, there will be a fairly big article about
Corvairs in the Monday, Nov. 1, New York Times, in the back of the
sports section. It will also be available online for free if you
register. 

I wrote the article based on interviews with members of the Capital
City Corvair Club (Madison, WI), Larry Claypool of The Vair Shop, and
some of you from this list, not to mention considerable reading
(including Nader's book, "Corvair Performance Portfolio", and "How to
Keep Your Corvair Alive"). I've become a bigger fan of the car as a
result of doing this, and I welcome your feedback. 

So go buy a paper the day before you cast your presidential ballot, and
thanks to all of you on the VV list for helping me out.
