I'm not sure, but VDO does make and sell thermistor style CHT gages. I think
these are for use in Porsches. But most appear to be T/C types. I actually
have a VDO thermistor for CHT in my box o' parts. <G>

rings. I appears to work well, but I have not used any laser temperature
meter to compare, which should be quick and easy.
