deep mellow tone - no BUZZ!)
I highly recommend Flowmasters for manual Trans cars. I do not recommend
them for PG cars. The "mellow tone" becomes a "mellow DRONE" at cruise speeds
with the PG - I am not sure why. It may have something to do with the constant
load of a Torque converter. On a Manual trans car, I installed a pair of
flowmasters after tube headers, very important - I added a crossover before the
Flowmasters. That made the difference. At least for the usage I had, autocross,
it sounded fine. Ken Holm - on occasion, a contributor to this list - drove
the car from California to upstate New York, where it broke a crank (another
story/another time) - He may have a feel for the sound. It was a manual
trans car. - Seth Emerson
