<VV> dead cam/rod bearings

which engine has the bearing failure?the ' 61w/ 8000 mi? Was the crank ground with the new bearings,or just bearings on a crank that "looked good"? Were the rods re-sized on the big end, or left out-of-round? Where's all that bearing material now-laying dormant inside the oil passages?Just honing/re-ringing the "63 won't last long,either..you can either do it right,or do it twice..take Murphy's law out of the picture,you'll be saving money in the long run !!
