<VV> Decoding color

According to my GM parts book, Code A = Black ("Tuxedo Black"), the number 
represents the color of the top.  I beleive "1" indicates a white top and 2 
indicates a black top, but the top color information should be confirmed; I'm not 
positive about the top color information.

Hello VVer's.  I manage to decode most of my vehicle tag, except for the 
color code.  Could someone help?  My code is A-1 on my 1965 Corsa.  I'm 
trying to return it to its original spendor but have been stumped on this 
code.  Thanks.
