<VV> strut rod bushing question--LM

I'm getting ready to press the new bushings into my LM rear strut rods.
These are the type sold by the major vendors that need a little bit cut off
of the inner sleeve, and which are a little off-center when installed.  Does
it matter which way they are installed?  I mean, I assume that both bushings
on each rod should be installed from the same side, but does it matter which
way the offset is?
