Alesia,
Pretty much everything you need should be available at your Friendly Local Auto
Parts Store (they call them FLAPS on VV) except the fuel filters, of which you
will need one for each carb. Ken Hand would have these. He's a Corvair
mechnanic and he is located in Pontiac.
Here is his website:

Also consider buying a set of plug wires from him while you are at it. Don't
buy those at the FLAPS.
I acquired my first Corvair in 1985, a Cypress Green Corsa 140. I was going to
Wayne State and living at 25 E. Palmer, just off Woodward. The car had been
abandoned in 1974 and left in a garage there. I managed to get a title through
some creative paperwork, and got the car started. I bought a battery, pulled
each of the plugs, shot some WD40 into each of the cylinders, reinstalled the
plugs, put some fresh gas in the tank, and cranked it up. After sitting for 11
years, it started just like that.
Of course, all the brakelines and the exhaust had rotted away, but that's
another story....
Good luck!
