If you aren't quite ready for "classic" car insurers like Haggarty, State 
farm also offers "classic car" insurance.  It's really inexpensive.  The premium 
on my '66 is $56 for six months, full coverage with a stated value of $4k. 
(hmm, I might need to adjust that!)  In addition to the standard "club and 
parade" use, they permit "occasional pleasure or business use".  (I read this as "no 
commuting to work")
