Hi Greg, you've probably got them out now but if you don't...
I had to find time to go out to my garage and perform the operation myself
to see.
What's hanging you up now is the in-out adjuster at the bottom. It sticks
out and catches on the window regulator. Pull it up the 4 inches then turn
it 90deg with the front of the vent to point to the inside of the car. It
should come right out now.
You've got the chrome casting off of the leading edge, right? If not, remove
the 4 screws, 1 bolt and adjuster nut and pull it off the front of the vent
before removal of the vent.
