<VV> Trim Code for Convertible Top

Hey Guys,
Can anyone tell me if the Trim Code panel identifies the original 
convertible top color.  Looks like I might be replacing the one on my 
'63 Spyder.  Stained and discolored white on there now but has black 
interior and original exterior was also black.  Anyway to tell if the 
top was white...or maybe black.. Is there a site that deciphers the trim 
code?
