Before doing this, disconnect your
oil-pressure switch and start the engine ONE more time. If the light comes
on, something's wrong with your generator (yay!).

One loose rod cap?? Sorry..had that once...plenty of oil pressure....

You say engine temp was 270-80?? Is this an oil temp in the pan?? Or Head
temp?
IF OIL temp....FRICTION!
I ran my 69 at 90 for 7 miles today....60 deg. Themo's working.....oil pan
was NOT 200....could keep a finger on for a few seconds...
