Vair-ites,
    I remember 20 years ago when my best friend decided to get into Porsches 
when he bought a 914..We used to go in the same direction to school and one 
morning I saw his little yellow square up ahead about a eighth mile ahead of me. 
I figured I would just have to put his ego down a notch and I put my right 
foot through the bottom of the floor (figuritively ofcourse)....
   ..I passed him in my 66 Monza coupe at an indicated 110mph a little 
later...He said he saw me coming and got his 914 up to 85 before I passed him....I 
used to love to get the needle to 100....
   Like I used to say,
     "Corvair-itis is a disease of the mind that strikes the wallet."
