My apologies..

Still trying to avoid an engine rebuild to find out what is causing my
lifter type noise in my 150 Turbo...

Quick recap, newer engine, new heads, replaced jugs/forged pistons (.20
over)
New valve springs and rockers etc.
New lifters (adjusted both 'cold' and running, same result)

Still has noisey sounding lifters but runs fine...not a LOUD collapsed
lifter type noise but noisey just the same.

Ok an email to Clarks tech assistance brought this response. "Doesn't
sound like a lifter problem but rather an issue with valve train geometry"

Now I read through Clarks catalog trying to figure out what that
means..? There is a little info on it but the drawings they provide are
very vague (at least for me) and I can't figure out what they are trying
to show me..Can someone explain to me what/how valve geometry might
affect my lifter noise, how the heck can I check to see if this might be
my problem and lastly how does one go about changing the geometry? Did
I mention that math is NOT my strong suit and geometry was one of my
weakest subjects! (lol)

Thanks again for any information that may be offered...
