Bob,
For what it is worth, I have 205/55/15 tires on 15x7 Eagle Alloy wheels,
which have 4" back space. These are on the front of my '66 convertible.
There is no rubbing, but the right side tire comes very clost to the lower
front of the wheel well when turned to the right. While driving to Carlise
last summer, my speedometer was about five mph faster than what those
roadside radar units were showing.
