<VV> Loctite question

It has been suggested that I use red Loctite to re-insert a stud.  Well I've
gone to the 2 auto stores we have to choose from here on the island here and
neither sells Loctite.  Both had a red product made by Permatex and one also
had another brand  red product, named either Sure lock or Pro lock,
something along that line.

Should I continue looking elsewhere for the real Loctite or doesn't it
matter that much?
