<VV> EM Door and Kick Panels

Hi,

I'm almost finished installing a new interior in my 62 sedan. Before I install the door panels and kick panels I would like to treat the exposed cardboard on the back of the panels to help prevent water damage. I have already installed the plastic vapor barriers on the doors. I am thinking of something similar to a brush on water proofing. I appreciate any suggestions.
