Definitely, a Corvair differential won't last long
with ATF. My first seal failure (which I didn't
recognize at the time), coast me most a case of ATF to
get the car from South San Francisco, across the
bridge to Richmone. By the time I arrived, the car was
hardly driveable due to fluid loss. The diff input
shaft had almost no gear left.

  The second time, I got suspicious real fast and
saved the differntial. Smart me!
