Has anyone tried to adapt a Throttle Body Fuel Injection system to a Vair ?

Yes, both TBI and MPI have been done. The TBI set-up uses a centermount carb
manifold and GM TBI system. The June 1999 Communique has a nice article on
this conversion and gives price quotes which I'm sure may be different now.
Turbo City in Orange, CA sells a universal TBI kit for $1195 which includes
everything except an electric fuel pump.

The December 2001 Communique covers a MPI system from a 2.8 L Fiero adapted
for Corvair use. It is more complicated than the TBI setup since head work
is required for mounting the injectors.
